Contributed to the database design and core backend architecture of a fully custom collegiate recreation management SaaS platform built on Laravel, now used by recreation departments across hundreds of US universities. The platform covers the complete operational lifecycle — facility booking, fitness class scheduling, Greek life and group league management, online payment collection for registrations, mass push notifications, and a comprehensive admin dashboard — all under one unified system.
Business Problem
University recreation departments across the USA were managing intramural sports, fitness programmes, and club sports through spreadsheets, manual scheduling, and disconnected email workflows. Administrators had no centralised system to handle facility bookings, group league management, mass notifications, fitness class scheduling, or online payment collection — leading to double-bookings, lost registrations, and enormous administrative overhead.
