Overview
Designed and built a fully unified retail platform. Overhauled the custom WooCommerce storefront (om.kynobaby.com) and engineered a bespoke Point of Sale counter system (POS.KynoBaby.com) on CodeIgniter. Connected them via a real-time REST API synchronization pipeline that updates warehouse inventory levels instantly upon barcode scanning.
Business Problem
As Oman's leading baby products brand expanded from WooCommerce e-commerce to physical retail, they faced a split inventory problem. Selling online and in-store independently led to double-selling out-of-stock items, manual stock reconciliation, and fragmented customer data.
